What You’ll Do:

Install & Terminate Cabling: Set up work area outlets for floor, wall, and modular furniture. Terminate CAT 3 and CAT 5 jacks, mount faceplates, and surface mount boxes.

Build Telecom Closets: Mount backboards, racks, patch panels, and fiber optic hardware. Install grounding systems and complete IDC terminations (110/66 blocks).

Test & Troubleshoot: Perform continuity tests, identify and resolve wiring issues (opens, shorts, crosses, etc.), and use tone sets and volt-ohmmeters.

Lead & Train: Supervise small crews, coordinate timelines, and provide on-the-job training to ensure project success.

Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork including timesheets, work orders, material transfers, and change orders.

Safety & Standards: Follow all company, customer, and industry safety and quality standards.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tool Install Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and configuring tools and equipment according to technical specifications and blueprints. Experience with VESDA Fire Alarm systems is highly preferred.
